Chemonics International Inc, a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., is seeking long-term employees and short-term consultants for an anticipated four-year early grade literacy and numeracy program in Ghana. The project is expected to focus on improving reading and numeracy instruction, teacher training, education management, and materials development in English and mother tongue languages. It will also utilize ICT to strengthen education management and support teacher and student learning.
We are recruiting senior-level ICT specialists for both long- and short-term assignments who have experience:
- developing software and information management systems for government and non-governmental entities that deal with human resource and financial management; OR
- applying ICT in education, particularly in primary school literacy and numeracy instruction.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in education or relevant technology field preferred;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in ICT development and/or ICT integration in educational training, instruction, and assessments;
- Experience on USAID or other donor-funded programs preferred and experience working with non-governmental organizations, national and local governments, and the private sector required;
- Fluency in English required.
