Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, production and evaluation of training materials and programs to train, educate and develop employees.

ROLE:
Training and Development Policy/Strategy

  • Develop training policies and frameworks
  • Manage and ensure adherence of the company's training policies throughout the company
  • Communicate policy changes to employees
  • Review, maintain and update the HRD guidelines and information

Training and Development:

  • Research global best practices and submit proposals in line with the company's strategies
  • Manage training and development programs for all employees
  • Ensure that all developmental activities are carried out systematically
  • Manage the company's Management Development Program
  • Ensure the implementation of all organization-wide programs
  • Prepare yearly training plan and assist in the preparation of the training budget
  • Maintain and update employee skill inventory
  • Support the implementation of change programs and other HR-related projects

Recruitment and Selection:

  • Assist in assessing recruitment needs
  • Administer selection processes
  • Manage the institution's new employee induction and graduate trainee programs
  • Reporting and Management

Provide monthly reports on key HR programs and functions:

  • Report on HR best practices and standards
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of standards and HR best practices in the company
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Required Skills or Experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Masters degree in Business related areas/Human resource management Development.
  • CIPD or CTP/IHRM/SHRM qualified 5+ years in instructional design/learning & development, including needs assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation skills
  • Group facilitation and presentation skills
  • Project management skills; able to handle multiple projects and competing priorities while still ensuring deadlines are met
  • Experience in managing people and Budget Management
  • A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications
  • Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences
  • Organized, a self starter and an inspirational leader to the team
  • Experience in designing and delivering a variety of training solutions
  • Experience in a multinational institution will be an advantage
